Navya-Nyaya (New Logic), founded by Gangesa Upadhyaya (~1200 CE) in his Tattvachintamani, transformed classical Nyaya into a rigorous formal discipline with technical Sanskrit notation. It flourished in Bengal (Navadvipa) and became the dominant school of Indian logic for centuries.
